How YOU Can Help

We have a lot of people ask us how they can help, well, there are actually many ways! A few ways are: sponsorship (horse and/or student), donating in kind items and services, and volunteering.  We are able to operate because of the many generous donors and volunteers we have been blessed with. In order to continue to grow, and maintain our program, we will always use help in all areas. Find more details below. If you are interested in helping us, please visit our Contact Us page and fill out the form, call us, or shoot us a message on Facebook. Thank you!

Sponsorships

To donate money for a sponsorship, you can either call and set up a time to meet with us, send a check to our box, or donate online via Paypal (there’s a button on the left of this page.) If using Paypal, please specify “sponsorship” along with any details you’d like to add (students, horses, specific horse, etc.)

Student Sponsorship
Individual Lesson: $30
Annual Sponsorship: $900 (based on an average of 30 weeks of riding)

Horse Sponsorship

Without our Equine Partners we wouldn’t be able to do what we do, but they come at great expense. Our equine sponsorship program covers all of their basic needs throughout the year. This covers their needed: hay, grain and supplements, hoof trims or shoes (6x a year), their annual vaccines and checkup. As they have hard jobs, they love to be visited by our equine massage therapist a few times a year as well! Without our valuable horse sponsors taking the best quality care of our furry friends would not be possible.

Full Sponsorship
$1,800 per year (one-time payment)
or
$150 per month

Half Sponsorship
$900 per year (one-time payment)
or
$75 per month

* We currently have 7 horses, (two of them are miniature horses), two of our horses are sponsored for the 2024 year. The two minis, Mr. Giggles and Cinnamon, have yet to receive the gift of sponsorship. They would be delighted if you were interested in sponsoring them. And although they are small, and may seem to eat less.. they still cost the same as all of their other expenses are the same (vet, shots, teeth, feet).

Student Sponsorship

Approximately two thirds of our riders receive some sort of “subsidy” so that they can participate. We work hard to keep our student fees at an affordable rate, but even the weekly $30 is often times too much to bear. Many of these participants have other costs associated with “life” such as other therapies, equipment, or needing specialized care (or needing a parent to be their home caregiver), and are unable to afford the fun extra activities. We do offer scholarship funds to those who need it most so that we do not have to turn anyone away. As this fund, is always used, we are always needing to replenish it! Please consider donating to our scholarship fund, where you can give a one time donation, or donate a monthly amount of what you are able to! No amount is too small! ($30 each session).

Volunteering

Want to make a positive impact in someone else’s life? Are you interested in volunteering? There are many ways to help! We are unable to operate without our much needed and valuable volunteers! Volunteering is fun, and you get to be a part of something much greater by helping to create positive change for the individuals we serve. Many volunteers find this rewarding which then creates positive change in their lives as well! We hope that you choose to be a part of our team. We need helpers with our horses, “Horse leaders”, and helpers with our students “Side Walkers”, and then there are other options if you are unable to help with classes. We always need help with chores, such as feeding and cleaning stalls. Sometimes we have other big projects, such as fundraisers that we need help with. The best part is that you do not need ANY experience to participate- we will train you! Do you have an idea or a way that you would like to help? We would love to hear your ideas too! Please head on over to our “Volunteer Page” to find the needed forms.
